Beginning of August 2020
‘Already a few months away, the first lockdown period of standstill seems almost unthinkable. It’s summer. I lie down in the green gardens by a lake on a Sunday. A whiff of the scent of freshly mown grass envelops me and I squint up at the sky into the sun, which makes its sunbeams sparkle in different patterns through lightly blowing treetops. By rhythmically arranging the sun motifs, which repeat themselves, I create a mosaic – as a whole into a multi-faceted glow. A beautiful glow that is deceptive. I set sometimes more, sometimes less, dark framing accents. As a reminder of the Corona pandemic that is still ongoing.’
