Since 1983 Rosali Schweizer works as independent sculptor, and aside from this she worked in the medium of film in her early creation period. Under her direction, a documentary and several short films were produced.
“Today it’s my sculptures that I use to project small film images into everyday’s life.”
Since her kinetic objects look like windows into another world: “You walk along and suddenly you see the sky in orange”. And although Rosali’s sculptures are constantly in motion, they cause a real slowdown: “They allow you to spontaneously concentrate on something else. This clears the mind of thoughts and feels extremely good” the artist states.
